     Biodata of PDF Chairman Mr. Shahid Ahmed Memon

     

     

     

Directorate General of Special Education is planning to celebrate 2009 as the year of Mr. Louis Braille on his 200th Birthday in all Special Education Centers for Visually Handicapped Children with objective to recognize his services rendered for the betterment of blind community.

Pakistan Disabled Foundation (PDF) is the national support organization people with disabilities and disabling conditions like :

  • Mental Health
  • Physical
  • Sensory
  • Emotional
Message from the Chairman 
The Pakistan Disabled Foundation
believe the equal sharing of disabled 
community towards the responsibilities 
of the society in connection with the 
nation building and the effective 
societal role.

It further believe that the rights and privileges may not be demanded but 
commanded on the basis of first deserve then desire. To achieve the said 
philosophy into practice it is the first and foremost responsibility of the 
disabled community itself the to get the disabled persons fully acquainted 
with the training, education and socialization to be plead and protect their 
rights, privileges, facilities and securities with full of command and confidence.
For the same reason PDF has full time agenda towards the character building 
of the disabled community in all respects and launching various programmes by 
keeping itself constantly diligent to get the prime goal of socio economics status 
and inclusion for the People with Disabilities (PWDs) of the country. Almighty 
Allah may provide us guidance, courage and protection to fulfill our responsibility.

1. Pakistan Disabled Foundation and Ministry of Youth Affairs Sindh arejointly organizing two days workshop for disabled youth on 3rd and 4thMarch 2010 at Nawabshah Sindh.

2. Observance of Seerat-un-Nabi and Pakistan Day on 6th of March 2010 atMarkaz-e- Ilmo Saqafat, Federal B. Area Karachi under Pakistan DisabledFoundation.
